Using Zip Slip is the modern way to lubricate drysuit zips which are exposed to both fresh and saltwater and need looking after if they are to work properly and last a long time.

They have traditionally been lubricated with a stick of solid beeswax. But this has the disadvantage that it cannot reach all the component parts. This is where Zip Slip comes in. It is supplied in a 50ml bottle with a built-in applicator brush.

You just give the bottle a gentle shake, and then apply the gel with the brush. And that's all there is to it. Your zip gets total protection with the minimum of effort and expense.
